Welcome to the web site. There are pictures of our
trip to Germany and Prague. There is a summary of the trip below,
and you can read in more detail under each location.
Our trip began on July 20, 2003. Carin and I
traveled to Munich and met Ingrid who was
living in Wuppertal for the Summer. We explored Munich by foot for
2 days. We rented a car and went to Oberstdorf
to see the alps and castles. Then we drove to the small walled
town of Dinkelsbuhl where we were lucky
to experience Kinderzeche, a festival with dancing and parades.
After returning the rental car in Munich, we said good bye to
Ingrid. She returned to Wuppertal to finish summer school.
Carin and I took a night train to Prague where
we explored Prague Castle, the Jewish Ghetto, Charles Bridge, and the
Old Town Square. |
