Gollum vs. Golem

Who is Gollum?

Gollum is a character in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien.  He used to be a Hobbit named Smeagol.  After Smeagol discovered the ring of power, he was slowly transformed into the hideous creature, Gollum. Gollum lived in complete darkness in a watery cave in the misty mountains.  He survived off fish and any lost creature who ended up at his cave.

Who is Golem?

Golem is a legendary creature made out of clay or dirt.  The legend of Golem comes from Prague in the Czech Republic.  A man called Rabbi Loew created the Golem by breathing a magical word into a bed of clay.  The Golem was created to do chores, but he went crazy and rampaged through Prague.  After that he was never seen again.  You will see Golem monsters in lots of Role Playing Games, including my first encounter in Dragon Warrior.

Golem would definitely win.  He's just too dang strong.
