Scotland 2005
Notes:
I
read a history book about Scotland. Man they loved to have wars with
the English.
We
went to Edinburgh, Stirling, Fort William, The Isle of Mull, The Isle of
Iona.
I
drove on the left side of the road. It was a stick shift Ford
Focus. Driving in Edinburgh was actually scarier than the single
track roads dodging oncoming traffic.
G8
was meeting in Scotland a few weeks after our trip. People were
planning a demonstration.
One
pound is about 1.82 US dollars.
It
stayed light outside until about 11:30 and got light again in the morning
very early.
Along
with sampling beers like Caledonia 80, I tried Haggis, Kippers, and
Langoustines which are like small lobsters. No blood pudding for me
though.
Scottish
breakfast at B & B's is VERY filling. |

Suicidal Cows on Mull. There were actually WAY more crazy sheep than
cows.

A Celtic style cross right outside the Monestary. Columba brought
